Happy Monday! Did you enjoy your weekend? it was pretty short and quick for me.... but i got to try something new...

stamped onto kraft paper and left it uncolored (well almost)!

For my tag project, I used a MFT Pure Innocence sweetie, and stamped it on kraft paper (first time!) and colored only tiny bit of her outfit and the ice cream cone, with some white highlights. The back isn't finished, so I could easily add a message, or even put a little pocket for a gift card.

Happy Monday! and President's Day! Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! Or if you're working, hope you get a chance to relax a bit. Today, there's a brand new challenge at Lollipop Crafts... and it's one of our most popular themes... ANYTHING GOES!!

I haven't made an easel card in awhile, so i thought it would be a great time to do so...

This is an adorable image from All That Scraps, Honey, from the CC Designs collection. The papers are BG's Hopscotch... love the beautiful colors! So the "rain" (top half paper) turns into "flowers" (papers on bottom), and with some sunshine brings a beautiful garden of flowers behind the picket fence! The flowers are made with CC Design Cutters, and here are some close-up pics...

Followed a sketch from The Sweet Stop, colored the images up in Copic markers, and added some shine and sparkle! The sentiment tag has Baker's Twine in Lilac and Pink Sorbet - to match the girls' dresses. Using a Fiskars hand-punch with a small heart, punched out the border on the red strip. Some old hearts from previous punching were left in the plastic holder... and when I emptied it, there were a couple of hearts that had the perfect colors!

Hello everyone! Hoping you all get to spend time today with those who are special to you... sending BIG HUGS to all my family and friends... and that includes you too... and of course my hubby and kids!

My card today features Sweet November's Jilly's Candle, but I've altered it so that Jilly is holding a heart stick with a couple of flowing keys. After I finished the card and thought about it... should it only be"one" key to my heart? Oh well, my two keys are for my wonderful hubby and my awesome children!

She is just one of the new Fairwees designed by Amy Young, and you can find all the Fairwees here at All That Scraps store. This sweet fairwee was fussy cut and her cupcake is adorned with pink gems and liquid pearl frosting! Found this tutorial for a treat holder... alter the measurements a bit... now she's the perfect size for this yummy Ghiradelli chocolate treat!

This is one of The Greeting Farm's gorgeous stamps, Beanie Anya, and she's been colored up for awhile now... just waiting for me to put her together with some pretty papers! This coloring technique was done with Copics, more about it here on this post. The awesome sketch is from the brand new TGF Farm Fresh SCS Saturday Sketch Challenge, you can find out all the details here! Sentiment is also from TGF Clear Stamp sets... actually from three of them - "HUGS" is from Build a Onsies Boy, "KISSES" from Build a Onsies Girl, and "&" from Furever set. All three are part of an awesome candy win from Margie! The tag punch is from Recollections, and trimmed it smaller to what I needed. Today at All That Scraps, we are reviewing our January Digistamp releases. Birthday Lucy is one of adorable new Swiss Pixie girls, and she's now available in the ATS store in both rubber or digi!

I just loved coloring her up! The ledger paper, from KC&Co., is so soft and pretty. It comes as a spiral bound paper pad, so the "notebook rip" is already there! No need for another punch! Used a CC Design Cutters Butterflies Die.. butterfly is the smaller one with some pink gems added. I didn't have small flowers to match the purple on the dress, so took some white flowers and colored them with copic markers. The gorgeous green ribbon is from my good blog-friend, Amy, and thanks to Amy, I found a new way to tie it... you can check it out here on one of her many awesome videos. She's super amazing!!

Hi all! I have a fun card to share with you today...

All That Scraps is having review week of January's release! The adorable monkey is from the Animal Crackers line and is available in both rubber and digi stamp at the ATS store. Followed the sketch from SFYTT, and colored with my Copics. Some more new paper, this time from Lime Twist and snuck in a scrap from Basic Grey. The double stamped birthday sentiment was actually a mistake... the white by itself didn't show good, so I tried to stamp black on top of it. Well obviously I missed, but not bad... it looks like a shadow effect. :)

Is it Monday already? The weekend sure went by quick, lucky for me, we have an extra day before going back to school/work, to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. birthday. So come join me on Lollipop Crafts and play along our new challenge: NO EMBELLIES! Here's what I came up with...

The sweet image, sentiment, hearts, and paw print are all from The Greeting Farm's Furever stamp set (blog candy from Margie), and followed last week's sketch (SSS140) from The Sweet Stop. The blue border is outlined with a white gel pen, and traced the paw prints and hearts with a sakura pen. That's it!

Blowing Hearts in the garden...

Are you all ready for the 3-day weekend? I certainly am... and plan to get alot of crafting done! Today I have another new ATS digi to share with you all... Swiss Pixie Blowing Hearts...

Followed a sketch from MFT, and created a garden of flowers! This sweetheart is just so cute and fun to dress up! Don't you just adore her lace-up boots? Too cute! Colored up her with Copics, and add some sparkles to her pretty dress. Some flowers and buttons to complete the garden where this Swiss Pixie is blowing hearts to a special someone!

Hi all! Today is preview day for the All That Scraps Digi Team, and wehave some brand new Lucy images from the Swiss Pixie line to show you!Continuing with the birthday celebration theme for January's new release,here is Surprise Lucy...

She's just so thrilled to be celebrating... like I am... so excited to be on the ATS Digi Team and with my first preview post!! The sentiment is from the Party Time Logo set. To get the stamped edge look, I used a small flower punch and just using the tip of the punch, went all around the image... had to put my glasses on for that! LOL! I got a bunch of new paper during the holiday sales... this one is Basic Grey's Hopscotch. Love the pretty soft colors in these papers! Added some twine, sparkle, and shine! There you have it... my first card for ATS!! ;D

Hope everyone had a great weekend... the first week of 2012 has come and gone! I'm so glad you can join me today to welcome back Lollipop Crafts from our winter break! We're ready for a new and exciting year, and our first challenge of the year is the ANYTHING GOES with a NEW twist! Just use a new stamp, technique, supply, etc, or create a card/project for New Baby, or New House, or Happy New Year! etc... Be sure to check out the LC blog for all the details and some gorgeous projects from both teams!
Here's my card to share with you...

The "NEW" features are paper from Jillibean Soup, and a new clear sentiments stamps set I got from my friend, Leanne, who happens to also be on the LC team! Picked a few of the sentiments and stamped it randomly on the yellow cardstock for the background. I also tried a "new" skin color combo... my friend, Amy, has a bunch of GREAT tutorials on this blog... where I visit very often!! Followed the Friday Spy Day #14 challenge on FFC... cased the layout of the featured card. Cheeky Chat is colored in copics... isn't she just the cutest... with her pink phone!!
For another "new" thing for my blog this year, I'm going to list out all the supplies I used for the posted project, including a list copic colors! so here goes for the first post of the year...

all Health, Happiness, and Prosperity in the New Year!

Here's a card I made earlier this month for my MIL's birthday. This adorable little girl is Kiyoko from Sister Stamps, and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. Found some scrap origami paper from my dd's stash, and paper-pieced her kimono with it too!

What a year it's been... thank you to my followers, and visitors too, for all the sweet luv and support. It's been so much fun learning from all the fabulous crafters out there, and being able to share my inspiration with you too. I've had a wonderful experience being with the Lollipop Team for 2 terms, and looking forward to working with the ATS Digi team as well in the new year!

December C.A.T.S...

Hi all! I'm just starting to clean up my craft area (very slowly)... and remembered that I haven't shared with you my card and tag set I made for my Dec C.A.T.S. partner, Karen.

The card was on a previous post here, and here's the matching tag...

colored Beanie Anya up with Copics on this textured cardstock. I love the way the color shows... almost like watercolor. All I did was lightly colored each area and used the blender pen to soften the strokes. I colored up a few more TGF images, but haven't made anything with them yet, just couldn't resist doing the new technique! ok... back to the tag... the paper, ribbon, and gems are from Recollections, a MS holly punch, and a couple of red buttons! Quick and easy to put together!

if only you can see it IRL! It's so beautiful with all the adorable 3D embellies, and the embossing and stitching is incredible! Plus she added some sweet embellies for me to use too! Stop by and visit Karen here, and you'll find more amazing projects!

These two TGF cuties, Odette and Logan, were colored up with Copics on some cardstock that someone gave me. First time using them to stamp and color images on... like it? I likeee! I found a great tutorial here on making these are two gift holder cards. It was quick and easy... and turned out so cute! Think I'll be making more with this coloring technique! The base is kraft cardstock, dp are from BG Eskimo Kisses and Recollections Jolly and Bright, sentiments are Amy R. Winter Sentiments stamps, some twine, button, and ribbon!

My card features a snowman family trio...

Kept the layout CAS, colored it up with Copics and followed Amy's fabulous tutorial on coloring snowman. Didn't really have the exact colors, but it's close. :) Added ice stickles for the snow and used the good ole stardust gelly pen for some sparkle all over. Paper is from Recollections Jolly and Bright paper pad, and sentiment is from Imaginisce.

Princess Twins...

Hello! Oh my... it's been awhile since my last post! the days are just flying by... there just aren't enough hours in a day! hehee! now... how many more days until Christmas?!! O-M-G!!! :{
Today I want to share a card, or two, that I made over the weekend for a pair of twin girls' first birthday.

Princess Tia from SOG is so adorable, and is perfect for little girls birthdays! I colored her up in different shades of green but kept the pink for both cards. Used papers from BG Olivia, and picked the cardstock to match the skirts. Added some gloss on the crowns and some shimmer with the stardust pen in her hair, crown and outfit. Sentiment stamp is from Birthday Letter Seals from Whimsy Stamps, and colored it up to match the outfits.

The front of the card follows a sketch from The Sweet Stop... (forgot to take a pic of the card closed) and SOG current challenge is to make an easel card.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend! with lots of good eats with your family! and for my friends not in the US.... hope your weekend was a wonderful one too! Today I'm kinda going backwards to share this card/tag set I made for my Sept CATS partner, Leanne. If you haven't seen her awesome creations, pop over to visit her here... where you'll find an inspiring groove! ;D
For Leanne, I used my new Wee Stamp that I won from one of the Whimsy Stamps release hops. She is so, sooo cute!!!

The card followed an old sketch from Papertake Weekly:
colored the cute Winter Fairy with Copics, used BG Eskimo Kisses paper, flowers from Joy, sentiment stamp from Inkadinkado, snowflake punch from MS, ribbon from my stash, and loads of stickles! Here's a close up of the card...

It was fun to make this matching tag

which was inspired by Mariska's amazing bottle tag here... if only mine turned out half as gorgeous as hers!! lol! OMGosh... all her projects are in 3D! just check out her amazing blog! Anyways, the image was cut and framed with a round nestie and eyelet circles nestie. The little sentiment tag was cut using a nestie ribbon tag die, but cut in half. Ribbons, flowers, and pearls are all from Michael's.

Winter Wishes...

Are you keeping warm these days? It seems like a cold winter coming... and early too! Even here in the SF Bay Area, we have been getting pretty cold temps...and starting to get snow in the Sierra! Well, I've trying to stay warm during my craft time, which is usually in the early morning or late night, with a blanket on my lap... feel like an old lady!! hehee!

Anyways, my daughter and I started making some more holiday cards this past weekend. Some for friends, and some for the Cards that Care drive. DD colored about 6 images, and me just one... and we ended up with only one complete card each...lol! There were alot of "Mom, can you/should I ..." throughout the whole day between her and DS! (DS was working on a LEGO project.) Okay, enough rambling on... here's my card...that took nearly 4 hours!!

This is a darling SOG girl named Tia with her adorable penguin friend! Did you know that I LOVE penguins?! not so much in RIL... but cute adorable images!! I HAD to get this adorable image when I first saw it here on Amy's post. SOG current recipe challenge is to use 2 patterned papers, buttons, punch/die, and NO white/kraft for base card. Followed a great sketch from The Sweet Stop, and made a festive holiday card for Papertake Weekly!

Paper is from BoBunny's last year collection "Winter Joy", a MS border punch, and a Recollection tag punch stamped with an AmyR sentiment. Added a BG button and some twine. Stickles to Tia's earmuffs and along the tag. There you have it... four hours of work! LOL! but it always worth it to spend some FUN creative time with the kids!

I'll be sharing DD cards soon... she wants to finish up on a couple of more. She says it's really stressful to put it all together! but enjoys oloring of the images much more! ummm, that sounds familiar... hehee!

Hi All! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ready for a brand new challenge at Lollipop Crafts? We have both teams creating for this week's theme ... ANYTHING GOES! That's a perfect fit for my project that I finished this weekend...

The "Thank You Tiles" stamps are from Whimsy Stamps, which is where my inspiration to make this set of cards came from. Followed this tutorial at SCS, but changed the size to fit the 4x4 cards. The dp is from K&C's Julianne paper pack, and ribbon is May Arts. Cut the stamped tiles out in a square nestie and framed it with another nestie (labels 3).
Here are a couple more pics of the cards and box...

So what am I going to do with this? Well, it's going to my Nov. Secret Sister! Hope she likes it and can use it too! This month's theme is "Thanks" ... we have alot to be thankful for these days. Today, I have a little tag/tea bag holder to share with you. It's actually for my October CATS partner, Shirl.

The image is the fall wreath from Meljen's Designs and the background is embossed with the swirls folder from Cuttlebug. I hope she likes it (and the green tea!) along with the card I made on this post here.

The sweetest witch ever is from TGF's halloween collection... and I made a slide out treat holder that can hold a single candy bar or what I did was made a little sleeve for inside and put four mini candy bars...

Instead of a card, this time I made a treat bag for sweet goodies! I basically followed this tutorial at SCS, but changed up the size and modified it a bit. Turned out a bit bigger than I wanted, but then you can put more sweets...or for the lucky recepient, get more!! ;p

Happy Monday! What did you do this weekend?? We, my kids and I, finished our christmas cards that we are sending off to Kris, where she and her aunty are having a "Make A Child Smile"card drive. I already started with one from my previous post here, then I asked my kids if they wanted to make some with me. So we got busy this weekend and came up with some fun cards...

They really had a great time making them, especially since they got to use my Copics! Not too often does that happen!! LOL! But it was for a good cause...and they want to do more cards! So there is another drive that we will be donating to, and you can find out more here.

Good Morning peeps! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend... I had to work, so not as much craft time that I had planned on. But I did get to finish my card for a new challenge this week for Lollipop Crafts... Make a CARD with NO SENTIMENTS ALLOWED!

My card features Cookie Emma from C.C. Designs. She's dressed in her black velvet holiday outfit and having a warm sweet chocolate chip cookie. The color inspiration is from ATS new monthly challenge called Show & Tell with C.C. Designs - black, burnt orange, and tan. This gorgeous paper is from "me&my BIG ideas" line... an old set of paper pad I got a loooong time ago, that has tropical summer papers. But this one kinda just fits into what I wanted... holiday in the tropics!
I wanted to add some more embellies, but this one is going to Kris for her card drive that she is doing with her aunty. YAYYY! I made one...LOL... but I will be making more with my kids! If you would like to help bring a smile to a child's day, click here for more deets.

Hello everyone!! Sorry for going MIA, but I've been recovering from health issues, and I'm so glad to be back!! And just in time for Lollipop Crafts new Monday challenge...HALLOWEEN!!!! Create a card/project with anything Halloween related, and you're in!

My card today features TGF's Ian as Hallo Skeleton...

Over at the Farm, the final FFF challenge for the current team is to case any of the DTs. It's was so hard to pick one designer, they are ALL so fabulous!! But I ended up chosing 1LUVNMAMA and her card HERE. Mama's super talent always produces amazing work, just check out her blog! She's become a good blogging friend, and her beautiful projects always inspire me. But mine never comes out quite like hers! LOL!
Thanks to a fab tutorial by Amy Young at Color Me Copics, I TRIED to color Ian's face using the zombie skin technique. But not having the colors that Amy used, I had to improvise and used E00, W1, W3, and BV23. I also added a touch of YG00 along the edge of the mask and skeleton bones to make it look "glow in the dark". Now that I look at the picture, I should have darkened his suit a bit more. Think I'll do that before I give it away yet to my October's Secret Sister. Can you believe it... I'll be early this month! LOL!!

A Warm Hello...

Happy Monday!! The start of another week and a new challenge at Lollipop Crafts! Today the "A Team" wants you to create with BRADS or EYELETS!! Don't you have a bunch of those things ...laying around somewhere... maybe everywhere like me? hehee! Well it's time to dig them out and make use of them!

On my card I used brads that look like buttons! I had these for the longest time... one of the first embellishments I bought. Well, it's perfect for this card with the cutest Strawberry Fairy from SN stamps

Colored her up in copics and stickles on her wings and strawberries. Doesn't it look like fresh dew on the ripe sweet berries? YUMMMM.... Oh guess what came in the mail... TWINE!!! I couldn't resist to get all the colors in the sampler pack when The Twinery had their anniversary sale! Guess you'll be seeing them more often in my projects... if I don't end up hoarding them! lol!

Onto my card...

I chose to case the way Amy made cut-outs of the images. Instead of button shapes, the four Anyas are cut with a nestie, and each girl represent the seasons winter, spring, summer and fall. And who doesn't need a friend, all year long! Added some gorgeous flowers (candy from KrisP), stickles in Crystal Ice, and got this sentiment from Studio G at Michael's.

Well gonna keep this short...have a ton of things to do!

Swiss Pixies Nora...

Hi everyone!! Today I have a quick post for a last minute challenge over at ATS using a photo as inspiration. This is something I've wanted to make for a while now...

a magnetic post-it note holder!

Laying Nora was the perfect Swiss Pixie for my note holder. Colored her with Copics and a bit of Clear Star gelly pen. Used some BG Olivia paper scraps, tied a small bow on top, and glued it all on a coaster chipboard with a magnet on the back. Simple and fun!

Happy Monday!! Wow what a weekend! Got the kids ready for back to school, finished painting my daughter's bedroom and put together a new bed for her. I'm ready to get back the normal school routine... although nothing is really normal about it! hehee!! But it's normal for Lollipop Crafts to bring you a new challenge!! This week we are RECYCLING... use something from an old shirt, or ribbon from presents, or whatever you can recycle for a card or project.
I chose to recycle some old buttons and embroidery floss, and this is what I came up with...

My biggest challenge is to make masculine cards, but this time it came together pretty easy. Thanks to my DS (it was for his birthday) and my AugSS swap (TGF's Sweet&Toxic from Leanne).

Last year, my DS chose all the details for his birthday card, so for this year, he wanted to use Creeper Jack again, but with a change of clothes! Today my card features the darling "Little Fish" image which I've had colored for awhile now. Originally I was going to make a post-it note holder with it, but time has never been on my side . LOL! So it sat patiently in the drawer waiting and waiting....

until today! I found a great sketch over at Sketch N Stash... aside from my image, other stash items include the scrap papers used for the swirl and bottom dp. It's great to be able use them! The warm summer colors are just what I need to try to stay relaxed this summer.

The card I made for today is for my son's friend's birthday. I think the hardest card to make is for this age group: 10-14 year old boys. Kept it pretty clean... added only a couple brads to hold the sentiment (from Whimsy Stamps) and personalized the guitar with his friend's name...

Hey everyone! My missing mojo is making a small comeback and so finally got a chance to complete one of my projects for this month... for my C.A.T.S. July partner Linda! The theme for this month was to use red, white, and blue - since I'm way past July 4th holiday, I tried using different blues on my project. This darling stamp is called Lil' Bug Emma from CC Designs' Sugarplum line, and it was part of my SS swap goodies from Linda! I just love this cutie and had to use it and make something for her.
Here is the card...

Colored with Copics, added white flock on the wings (can't really see it), and stickles all over her red leotard! Sentiment is from Studio G clear stamp set (from Kris P.), stamped onto the smallest scalloped rectangle Nestie set. I love the postage stamps that I see everywhere, this is pretty close to it!

Pinwheels and dreaming ...

Happy Monday! Did you find some relaxation over the weekend? I sure did... sort of... LOL! Since the kids have been out for the summer break, I've been a chauffeur on the weekdays! But can't complain... it's great to sit by the pool and watch the kids during their swim practices, and with nice weather too!

Today I've got another card set to share. I used Itzie Inkies Flower Power stamp set from ATS... the most adorable monkey! and check out the new release of Itzie Inkies here! Inspired by Amy's tiny pinwheel, I made one for him to hold instead of his flower.

The first pinwheel turned out way too big (with a 2" inch square), so I gave it a try at 1". Thanks to Amy's tip of putting a glue dot in the middle, I finally got it! But then totally forgot about the copic colors bleeding through the other side of the paper! Oh well, gotta let it be... :D

Can you believe it??? Two posts in one day? Think that's a first for me... but can't help it. Today is the final day to enter the TGF Royalty Contest for week two. I already missed the first week, so I made this card at the last minute ...literally!

Inspired by the Royalty photo, kept this black and white, but chose purple instead of the hint of green. You would think my wedding color is purple but nope... it was blue! The minute my hubby saw this, he said it reminded him of us...awwww! He got a big kiss for that! LOL!

Graduating...

Hi everyone! Just a fore warning this is a LONG POST ....I'm so glad that I got through last week ...I was completely stressed getting ready for both my kiddos graduations! I didn't get to make any crafts things for them, I had a tough enough time finding their outfits! For my son, I put together a slideshow for the graduating class..showcasing the kids (about 100 of them!) all the way from Kindergarten to Fifth grade! For my daughter's middle school graduation, she wanted to get her hair and make-up done...which is something she never wants done! As you can imagine, I was quite nervous doing it for her, and it didn't turn out exactly what she wanted... but she looked fabulous no matter what! :D Luckily their ceremonies were on different days, and the family got to attend both special days!

So proud of them!!

Now on to my card ...it's Darby and Dazzle! They are an adorable pair, perfect for summertime birthdays! Which we are celebrating one tonight with my sister!

Okay... I was bitten by the Pizza Box Bug!! There is a fun fun challenge at ATS to make mini-pizza boxes, and at the last minute,I just had to join in!

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Can you believe it's already the end of May and summer is just around the corner!

How easy and fun is that? My card today features Fleur Anya, she is so pretty and easy to bling her up!

Used gold Stickles, pearls, and Sakura Clear Star pen to bling up my card. The paper is from Me&My Big Ideas paper pad that I bought soooo long ago. Never thought I would use this particular pattern because it seemed so busy...but now I just love it! Perfect for summer themes... like FFC's Summer Lovin' challenge!

how I wish it could be more often!! The card I'm sharing today is a birthday card with a masculine theme. Background paper (from MME) looks kinda pinkish here, but IRL it's more red. Anyway... it's something different than what I've done before... using objects as the main focal image. I followed a fun sketch from The Sweet Stop, used a Hero Arts stamp set that was part of my prize package from Lily Pad Cards, and sentiment is also from another Hero Arts set. I also joined the Basic Grey challenge to mix and match different BG products... the two panels from Oliver paper pad and brads from the Olivia set.

Hi all! Where do the days go??? Is it because we spend it with good friends & family and time just flies when you're having fun...like Surfer Anya! She was one of my lucky wins from TGF, and finally got to ink her up!

She's ready to ride the waves in her cute board shorts!

The dp are from another win at Amy Y.'s blog... I've been hoarding them cause they are soooo cute!! Gotta find out who the maker is! Sentiment is from Inkadinkado "just saying" set - it was a bit too big, so i cut off one outer pattern on the circle - perfect! All the edges are inked with Colorbox brown to give it a touch of distressed look. The border punch is from MS and ribbon from Michael's (one of my fave ones...am running out soon...oh noooo!)

Thanks for joining me again today...it's been exactly one year ago that I've started this amazing fun journey with this blog. I never would have imagined where it's taken me and the many cherished friends that I've made! Your sweet and inspiring comments are so appreciated and each time I visit your blogs I learn something new and inspiring too!
My first entry a year ago was a party favor box I made for my DD's birthday party, today I would like to share the card I made for her birthday this year.

She loves this line of images from Pachela Studios and this cutie is Toby Tumble. He is the sweetest rabbit, and he has many cute little friends! Her fave color right now is this soft sage, purple and blue has always been her favorites too, so I used copics BV colors for Toby's shirt and colored in some of the flowers to match. The HB tag stamp is from Inkadinkado, and the dp is BG's Kioshi. She was thrilled to see her card, and some of the other images I got too!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! So glad to start a brand new week...my last week was horrible! Started on Monday, sore throat...then by the next day, my voice was completely gone! My kids were so funny..."so when will your voice be back? maybe a week or two?" hehee! I bet they were glad to not hear my nagging...but it was only for two days! LOL! Anyways, I'm finally feeling better...not yet 100%, but getting there. Thank you for your sweet well wishes! It really warms my heart! <3

Let's get to the new challenge at Lollipop Crafts...hosted this week by Angieszka, and she wants you to create something VINTAGE or SHABBY CHIC! Our sponsor for this challenge is Digi Scrap and they have some cute images to play with. For my card, I chose a baby carriage...

I was a bit nervous about this challenge in the beginning, not really knowing how to be vintage or shabby chic! But after some blog surfing, I'm guessing it's earthy tones, distressing, ribbons, lace, and even some metal. So that's what I did! Hope you all like...it was pretty fun to make (but did take me longer because of my killer sinuses!) I bought a pack of loopy brads at a scrapbook show, not sure how they were used, but they looked interesting, and only $1... now I LOVE them and wished I bought more! I used them at the top of the card with the lighter blue ribbon...so cute! The sentiment is from AmyR Stamps and the paper is called Julianne from K&C Co. Well that's my share for today. TGF Birthday Card...

Hi everyone! I've been working on this card for my DH, took me wayyyy tooo long!! I decide to make a birthday card at the last minute ~ which means it is now late.. :( But I'm happy how it turned out! There are four panels on it, one for each of us...first up is me!

Fleur Anya in my fave colors! Followed the MM Challenge which this week is to CAS a fabulous card made by Joni. She makes adorable cards, visit her blog and you'll see for yourself! I'm also entering this to the Outlawz Monday card challenge, use your favorites.

Next up, my DD...

I had each of my kids pick which TGF Sprout they like to be, and DD picked Summer! She's a real cutie and just love her little giggle! For this panel, I followed the CAF LAST Saturday Sketch {sniff!}. But not to worry, cuz there's a brand new challenge blog, just take a look at all the new excitement!!

OK,next is DS...

DS picked Dylan and Paul, so I had to alter him. Used his fave colors and followed a Friday Sketchers layout...but I didn't finish in time for the challenge, and I just found out they've closed their blog {sniff again!} But I love how the banner turned out! The stars and banner flags were all hand cut, turned out better than I thought!

Finally, my DH with all of us surrounding him...

I picked Jeremy...he so well dressed! Kept the layout pretty simple, just a ribbon and a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps. Used my new nesties to pop up "DH"! so i think it'll qualify for the NEW FFChallenge!

Hi everyone! Hope all is well with everybody! I've been super busy this past week, kiddos were on Spring break, and that means every few minutes I hear.... "MOMMMM!" I tried to get some work done in the morning before they woke up, luckily they like to sleep in! But once they are up, it's breakfast, then lunch, and dinner around the corner. The week just flew by and now it's back to school!
