Robbie's Balancing Cupcakes...

Happy Monday!! Wow what a weekend! Got the kids ready for back to school, finished painting my daughter's bedroom and put together a new bed for her. I'm ready to get back the normal school routine... although nothing is really normal about it! hehee!! But it's normal for Lollipop Crafts to bring you a new challenge!! This week we are RECYCLING... use something from an old shirt, or ribbon from presents, or whatever you can recycle for a card or project.
I chose to recycle some old buttons and embroidery floss, and this is what I came up with...
Robbie the seal from the Greeting Farm is tossing up cupcakes to participate in three challenges. This fun sketch is from Lily Pad Cards which is sponsered by TGF this week. Then FFC WOW's challenge is to use boy colors. Last, Farm Fresh Friday is going with Digital Get Down #2! Just perfect how one card can join in all three challenges!

Check out all the deets HERE for the RECYCLING challenge on LC! Use your creativity... can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

from Me...

Happy Saturday!!! I've been running around getting the kids ready for school, and that made me totally forget to post my sponsor spotlight card for Lollipop Crafts. You still have until tonight to play along and have a chance to win three adorable digis... like this little cutie...
Peyton from Digital Delights has the sweetest smile, and can't you just picture him playing with his trains? Thumbing through the BG Oliver papers, I found the perfect match! The adorable sketch is from my sweet blogging friend, Alice, where she is guest designing for Srap RDV. Stop by her blog for a visit to see more of her adorable projects!
That's it for me today. Come back on Monday for another new challenge at LC. Have a great weekend!!

Celebrate with Creeper Jack

Hi all! Did everyone have a good weekend? It's Monday and time for a brand new challenge at Lollipop Crafts.  This time we challenge you to MAKE IT MASCULINE !  Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights...

and one lucky winner will receive 3 images of their choice!

My biggest challenge is to make masculine cards, but this time it came together pretty easy. Thanks to my DS (it was for his birthday) and my AugSS swap (TGF's Sweet&Toxic from Leanne).
Last year, my DS chose all the details for his birthday card, so for this year, he wanted to use Creeper Jack again, but with a change of clothes! The layout was loosely based on a sketch by Deconstructing Jen, if you ever need a sketch this is THE place to go! Added some buttons too, so it fits the FFC to Button It Up!

August is always the busiest summer month for me. With vacations, birthdays, and getting ready for school again, the days just go by sooooo quick!! There's one more week of summer vacation for the kids, then it's back to school and that means more quiet (and craft!) time for me!!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Dream with Lil Angel...

Hi Friends! It's Thursday and time for Lollipop Crafts' spotlight shine on this week's sponsor ...
Here's some info on the fabulous company...
"Hi my name is Stitchy and I am Co-Owner of Stitchy Bear Stamps. We started this store on april 1st, No fooling haha..I live in upstate New York with my husband and two TEENAGE adults haha. I do say that loosely as they think they run the show here, NOT...
I've been creating stamps for less than a year now and I am totally addicted to the craft..I started about 4 years ago making digital scraps and I knew there were much more out there, so a friend of mine introduced me to digital stamps...and the rest they say is history...I look forward to seeing all the beautiful creations come through...good luck everyone... stitchy xoxox"

The DT was lucky to have some cute images to work with, and for my spotlight card I chose "Lil Angel"...
She is so adorable...with her big blue eyes! Found a sketch from Paper Sundaes and followed the current challenge at Simon Says Stamp to do all white except for the image. The beautiful angel wings have highlights with Sakura Clear Star, but it didn't show too well in the pic. I didn't realize until writing this post that my choice to use blue and violet matched the sponsor's badge! How perfect!

Now, how would you like to win a $10 GC from Stitchy Bear? Pop on over to Lollipop Crafts to play along in the current challenge, and you could be the lucky winner!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - All White
Paper Sundaes - #81 Alica's Sketch

Summer Fun with Meljen's

Today at Lollipop Crafts, we are shining our spotlight on
Here's a little about the company:
Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily growing! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

Today my card features the darling "Little Fish" image which I've had colored for awhile now. Originally I was going to make a post-it note holder with it, but time has never been on my side . LOL! So it sat patiently in the drawer waiting and waiting....
until today! I found a great sketch over at Sketch N Stash... aside from my image, other stash items include the scrap papers used for the swirl and bottom dp. It's great to be able use them! The warm summer colors are just what I need to try to stay relaxed this summer.

Now let's see what you can come up with for this week's CELEBRATION challenge at Lollipop Crafts. One lucky random winner will be awarded a prize of 4 digis of choice!! Isn't that SWEET?!?!
Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Challenges:
Stamp Something - Summer Fun
Sketch N Stash - #67 Sketch
Stamp and  Create - August Critters

Lollipop Crafts' Celebration Blog Hop

It's time for a CELEBRATION!!! Lollipop Crafts is celebrating their ONE YEAR BLOGAVERSARY and you are sweetly invited to join the fun!

First of all, we are back from summer break with our weekly challenge. The theme this week is CELEBRATION! Create a card/project with a celebration theme (ex. birthday, anniversary, wedding, new baby, graduation, etc) We all have something to celebrate right? It is the first challenge of the month and that means we are sponsored this week by Meljen's Designs. One lucky random challenge player this week will win a fantastic prize. Be sure to link your creations with InLinkz on the LC blog for a chance. Check out the challenge rules too!

Secondly, it wouldn't be a celebration without some FUN! Join in on our Anniversary blog hop! You have until tomorrow (Tuesday at midnight PST) to visit and comment on each DT member's blog. Make sure you visit each of us because their are hidden prizes (the DT doesn't even know who has the prizes). Winners will be announced on Wednesday. List of blog hop sponsors can be found on the LC blog and the master blog hop order is there too!

You should have arrived here from AGNES' blog. If you hopped here by chance, please head over to Lollipop Crafts and begin your journey there.

The card I made for today is for my son's friend's birthday. I think the hardest card to make is for this age group: 10-14 year old boys. Luckily I have this cool image from Pixie Dust Studio and matched it to DCWV's Rock Star mat stack. Kept it pretty clean... added only a couple brads to hold the sentiment (from Whimsy Stamps) and personalized the guitar with his friend's name...

Now it's time for you to hop on over to KRIS' blog and leave some sugar!!
