A Warm Hello...

Happy Monday!! The start of another week and a new challenge at Lollipop Crafts! Today the "A Team" wants you to create with BRADS or EYELETS!! Don't you have a bunch of those things ...laying around somewhere... maybe everywhere like me? hehee! Well it's time to dig them out and make use of them!

On my card I used brads that look like buttons! I had these for the longest time... one of the first embellishments I bought. Well, it's perfect for this card with the cutest Strawberry Fairy from SN stamps
Colored her up in copics and stickles on her wings and strawberries. Doesn't it look like fresh dew on the ripe sweet berries? YUMMMM.... Oh guess what came in the mail... TWINE!!! I couldn't resist to get all the colors in the sampler pack when The Twinery had their anniversary sale! Guess you'll be seeing them more often in my projects... if I don't end up hoarding them! lol!
Our sponsor for this week is Di's Digi Downloads and they are offering a fabulous prize to one lucky winner! Be sure to check out the deets the play along with us at Lollipop Crafts... and some of the gorgeous projects from the team!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Hello Friends...

Did you see this week's FFC's Mystery Monday with Amy Young? If you haven't, check this out...

The card she made is sooo darn cute, as ALL of her cards and Sweet November designs are always inspiring! Make sure to visit Amy, you'll be sure to get lots of sweetness!
Onto my card...
I chose to case the way Amy made cut-outs of the images. Instead of button shapes, the four Anyas are cut with a nestie, and each girl represent the seasons winter, spring, summer and fall. And who doesn't need a friend, all year long! Added some gorgeous flowers (candy from KrisP), stickles in Crystal Ice, and got this sentiment from Studio G at Michael's.

Well gonna keep this short...have a ton of things to do!
Thanks for stopping by! ;)

No Peeking...

Well, ok...you can! Today at Lollipop Crafts is sponsor spotlight with....
Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family.  Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs at her new STORE, where there's a BIG sale that ending today!!

This grumpy gnome has been colored up for a while, waiting for me to put him in the spotlight. I finally did, and can you just imagine him saying "what took you so long?!" hahaa! The sketch is from The Craft's Meow challenge blog, but since I don't own any TCM stamps, I can't play along.  :( But I still love the fun sketch... and TCM stamps are on my to buy list!! The papers are from last christmas, but can't remember what line they are from. The colors are non-traditional, so it could really be used for any occassion. Sentiment is from AmyR's Winter Sentiments available at ATS, just perfect for this little guy!

There's plenty of time left to play along the LC challenge, but don't wait too long .... head on over for all the deets and your chance to win 4 images from Meljen's!

Thanks for stopping by!  ;)

Swiss Pixies Nora...

Hi everyone!! Today I have a quick post for a last minute challenge over at ATS using a photo as inspiration. This is something I've wanted to make for a while now...
a magnetic post-it note holder!
Laying Nora was the perfect Swiss Pixie for my note holder. Colored her with Copics and a bit of Clear Star gelly pen. Used some BG Olivia paper scraps, tied a small bow on top, and glued it all on a coaster chipboard with a magnet on the back. Simple and fun!

There's a new challenge blog Young Crafters Unite!

and their first challenge is to color up a stamped image. Check it out here!

And one more challenge this fits into is PIO #36 - Anything that begins with B and there's my little BOW!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)
