ATS Challenge Reminder

Hi all! It's hump day Wednesday... and I'm popping in to remind you to join us at ATS Challenge blog this week! A fun photo for inspiration and an awesome prize for one lucky winner!

Sweet November's Fairwee Jilly has a birthday candle for someone's special day! Followed a sketch from Mojo Monday, and first time I've attempted to make a round card. It wasn't centered quite right when it's standing up, so out came the little holder for picture time! lol! Papers are from S.E.I. Fair Day, and solid color cardstock from DCWV.  A few Spellbinders round diecuts, and an altered Recollection tag punch. And of course, some sparkles and shiny gems!

Happy Memorial Day! am just popping in really quick to bring you Lollipop Craft's new challenge for the week, in observance of today... With Deepest Sympathy.

Very simple layout, but finally got to try embossing powder on the stamped image. It was pretty fun to watch the powder turn so shiny. lol! Then I tried to add some color with ink pads, but it didn't show well. So out came the copics... luckily it turned out the way it did, and didn't have to start over. Image is from Penny Black, and sentiment from AmyR Sentiment Stamps.

With this picture and LC's SPLASH challenge, I am really ready for the summer! Here I have Sweet November's Strawberry flitter friend. She's been retired in rubber, but still available in DIGI!

From the inspiration picture, I've used the colors, flags, and a fun balloon ride. The papers are from MME's Lime Twist Out of the Blue set. Just love the gorgeous warm summer colors! Hi all! Sorry I've been lagging with my blog lately. Have been dealing with some annoying health issues... cant wait to get it out of my system! am waiting for some lab results, wish they would hurry it up...I've got to get back to my "normal" life!! LOL!

Been having really strange weather patterns here in California... warm, hot, cold, windy, and even possibly rain today! okay, lite showers, but come on... it's Memorial Day weekend! Time for nice WARM summer weather please!!

It's Honey Bee-trice...

Okay my friends, are you ready for some more cuteness?? She is one of the cute new May releases from C.C. Designs available now All That Scraps store....

Honey Bee-trice is super sweet!Colored her up using Copics and the blender pen on textured cardstock that someone gave me a while back. Followed a sketch from Mojo Monday, and the papers are Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 mini deck. Don't you just love the nostalgic look of these papers? think i'll be using them more often! :D Sentiment is from Hero Arts.

For Mama...

Happy Monday everyone! Ready for a new challenge from Lollipop Crafts? Well this week, it's MAMA MIA!! Just create card/project for Mother's Day! Visit the LC blog for more details, and our sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs!

For my card today, I have Mei Li from Sister Stamps. I won her awhile back (from Jenny) and was inspired by my fellow DT Leanne's post here, so finally I inked her up!

Mei Li's pretty outfit is lined with golden sparkles using Stickles. Kept the layout fairly simple against the pretty washi paper. Added a nice green border on the bottom and the edges inked with a golden orange MS ink pad. The sentiment is from Penny Black, which could be for any occasion.
