Off to the Ball...

Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone (in the US) is enjoying the day off, and let's not forget to give a moment to remember our fallen heroes.

Now, this little princess is ready for the ball. She's new from Tiddly Inks, and there's a brand new collection of royal princesses. They are having a big sale tomorrow, so hurry over and check out the very cute images by Christy Croll! I picked up this little cutie called Petite Q, and she's perfect for my neice upcoming birthday!

Sparkling princess ready for her dance at the ball...

Used copics to color this princess in my neice fav colors, pink and purple! Gave her some shine and bling, and couple of butterfly gems. The flower border is a MS punch, and added some sparkles to the flowers. I found this dp at a local craft store (Beverly's) and it's from Cloud9 Design papers called Pixie Dust. So pretty I didn't want to cover it up too much!

I'm entering this into a few challenges this week:
Tiddly Inks: bring on the bling
Whimsical Wednesday/Deidrich Dare: make it sparkle
Your Next Stamp: use border punch

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by! ;)

Just in time...

I was looking through the cards that I've made recently, and I couldn't find a birthday card quite right for guys. This will be for my BIL birthday coming up tomorrow!! I thought I might as well try to find a challenge to guide me through another card, and I found ATS Weekly Wednesday and YNS challenge! At ATS you need to use dry embossing (ok, have that..) and over at YNS, cut it and POP it (did that too!).

here's a closeup of the cutest puppy from ATS!

This one of the adorable Pixie Pets from ATS (and sentiment too). Colored him with copics in gray tones because my BIL has a dog of the similar colors (not exactly, but close). Covered the yummy cupcake with stickles and of course a shiny red cherry! (though it didn't turn out too shiny in the pic...not very good light today...can u believe it's rainy!) Used a Cuttlebug embossing border, and my handy nesties for the frames. This came out cuter than I had planned...hope it not too "cute" for my BIL! hehee!

Luv's in the air

Don't you just love this adorable fairy in the hot air balloon? You can get it here at Tales from Pollycrafts. There a lots of adorable images, and some freebies too! My card today is for the Whimsical Wednesday-Deidrich Dare challenge. This week there's two terrific sketches to choose from, and I decide to use Willow's inspiration!

here's a close-up of the cutie sprinkling luv everywhere...

Cute little fairy is colored in copics, with some stickles and glossy accents all around! The sprinkles of hearts are full shiny luv ready to be spread all around the world! Used my nestie to cut out the image and then used a MS corner punch on the blue border. DP and ribbon were scraps from my dd card-making kits...glad they come in handy now! hehee!

Thanks for coming by! ;)

Let's Play

I found a cute cute image (and free too!) from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. They are having a fun challenge and all you need to do is to create something using their free images. Hula Hamster was ready to play and so was I! I used an awesome sketch created by fabulous guest sketch artist, Kyah, from Whimsical Wednesday. Check out the fabulous creations by the amazing Daredevils!

here's a close-up of Hula Hamster swinging away!

She's colored in copics, and her hula hoop is shiny in glossy accent! Added some stickles to the flowers, and used a MS punch for the doily lace. Ribbon and sentiment stamp is from Michaels. Finally the dew drops on the corners are from Joy at Tamiko's. I was her blinkie winner and look at the goodies she sent me!

Check out her wonderful blog and find out how you can be a winner too!

I Wish...

I made this card following the Whimsical Wednesday  challenge. But I got side-tracked with work, lost track of time, and then forgot about the time zone difference...oh well.  I had fun doing it, and luckily I can enter it in the Tiddly Inks challenge. These are such fun colors to play with. Wish I had better dp paper though!

here's a close-up of  an adorable digi image from Tiddly Inks

I colored the image with copics, added stickles and glossy accents.  Flower, ribbon and sentiment are from Michael's.  DP is from a very old stash of DCWV retro print paper pack...I need to buy some NEW papers!! hehee!

A Late Thank You

Back in March, I was the last winner of a month long birthday celebration with Michelle U! I never thought I would actually win from any of the blogs, but I was definitely lucky to win Michelle's. I guess having a birthday in the same month gave me some luck..heehee! Check out her blog HERE. She's got some really awesome projects! She made a cute HK basket to hold some of the goodies, which is the template I used to created my DD party favor turtle box. Anyway, I finally made her a thank you card using some of the candy I won.

here's a close up of Ginger, and a pic of the inside:

I'm entering this in the ATS weekly challenge, which is to use pink and brown colors. Thanks to Michelle, I was able to use ATS image Ginger from the Sweet November stamps. She so sweet! She's colored in copics and sprinkled with stickles. DP is from Sandylion papers called "Pretty in Pink", and the sentiment stamp is from Studio G.  I used a ribbon from EK Success Adornaments fiber collection from a few years back. (I have to admit, I buy and buy stuff, but never use...sound familiar?)

You can't believe how many days it took me to complete this (and I won't tell!), but over at the incredibly talented Amy Young's blog, she made this super cute card in only TEN MINUTES!! OMG...amazing!!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)
