Christmas Tags...

Is anyone ready for the holidays? I know I'm not...hehee! Today I'm sharing my tags that I made for the Monthly Tag Swap hosted by Kyoko. This time around it was for both Nov and Dec, so we had to make two sets! I was a bit late, but was finally able to get it out earlier this week to my partner!
First set I used an adorable penguin from Di's digis, there are some many cuties! First try at using flock on the hat...I used the MS flocking powder, thought it would have been more fluffier, guess I'll have to experiment some more. Added some shine and stickles on his scarf. The back was stamped with AmyR's Winter Sentiments and border stamp from Recollections line at Michael's.

My second set is images from Tiddly Inks. These adorable fairies are Bah-Huggabuggs, so cute! Couldn't resist to add spakles everywhere! For the back, I printed a Meljen image, a freebie this time, cut it out, colored the holly, inked the edges, and tied it on! Over at Tiddly Inks, this week's challenge is Christmas Caroling..."Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely..."

There's so much more to get done before Christmas...
Thanks for stopping by! ;)

edited: sorry the printed freebie is from Meljen's Designs, not Tiddly Inks.

Tiddly Inks' Princess...

Finally I was able to complete this for the Tiddly Inks Princess challenge #29. I used the cute fairy princess, Fairy Fae, and the Castle in the Sky images... you can find these and other adorable images here. Sentiment is from AmyR's Handy Additions set. Used shades of blue and a touch of gold, added sparkles everywhere with stickles, glitter pen, shimmerz. Glossy accents on the castle towers to make it shine in the sunlit skies...

Fairy Fae was so fun to color...her wings so delicate and dainty shoes...  all her magical fairy power will bring special birthday wishes!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Cherish...

Hi all! I have my last October project to share...this was made for a special couple's wedding anniversary! The mouse and heart are from Meljen's Designs digi images... freebie too!

The second mouse was flipped so they could be facing each other with intertwining tales!

Added a bow tie and borrowed a tiara from Tiddly Inks' princess, to dress them up to celebrate a special occassion! Even painted her toenails... hehee!

Found this lovely quote and cut it out with my nestie. Used Tea Dye Distressed Ink all around the edges of the card. Added some Shimmerz to these gorgeous flowers from Joy, and lots of stickles to bling it all up!

I went to check what's the current challenge on Meljen's Designs, and it's to use three different shapes. So... there's a heart, square and nestie die shape. Yup, it's good!

Halloween Birthday...

Hi all! It's definitely been a while since I've posted anything...days just seem to fly by! I have been visiting your blogs and there's been so much Halloween fun out there! I finally got a chance to do one myself...

This was so much fun to make! Inspired by Kim Y.'s awesome project, I just had to try it myself! The image used is from Tiddly Inks called "Cast Your Spell". It's super cute...just love the poof of magic dust! The sentiment stamps are from Amy R's The Best, Big Words, and Handy Additions sets...

This treat box is filled with some yummy chocolate...
From the side views:

You Take The Cake...

Is it Saturday already? How time flies when you're having fun!!  Today I have a card for the Tiddly Inks Challenge. It's a sketch challenge designed by the fabulous Betty Boo.

This adorable cutie and sentiment are from the set called Cherry on Top. I love the cupcakes, but have a tough time coloring them! Just can't seem to get it to blend right. Maybe it's time to get more copics in the same color groups.  hehee!

I added some swirls on the bottom corner. Wish I had some "real" pearl swirls, but I don't...so this is drawn with Sakura Stardust Clear pen, then added Lavender Lace liquid pearls. The pearls came out lighter than I wanted... you know what that means... gotta get more colors!

Challenges:
Tiddly Inks - Sketch by Betty Boo
Karber Weekly Challenge - Food/Beverage
Stamp and Create - Pearls & Gems
Flutter by Wednesday - Open, all winged things

Have a great weekend...and thanks for stopping by! ;)

Color Me Copic Challenge #2...

Wow...can't believe it's been almost one month since my last post. Went camping the last weekend of July, very minimal internet. I had to miss the TGF's birthday bash! :( Then after camping, we took a family vacation to Disneyland and Legoland! The kids had a blast! Since they are old enough to go around the park with their cousins, hubby and I took it easy. Didn't ride too many things, getting old...LOL! Anyway, two days after our trip, my son had his 10th birthday party! I tried to pre-plan as much as possible, but there's always last minute stuff to do. I didn't really have anything in his party bags that matched his theme (Mario Brothers), so the quickest and easiest thing I could come up with was to wrap the candy bar. This is what I did on Saturday for his party on Sunday!
Pheww, so glad things are slowly getting back to the normal schedule...and back to school next week!

Now let's get to the card. My son's friend's birthday was today, so he wanted me to make a card. Ok...now card for a 10 year-old boy...that took me a while to think of something. Luckily I came across these images from Tiddly Inks. Not girly, and not too kiddish (if that's a word)! Found a great sketch at Taylored Expressions, and finally came up with this...

Over at Color Me Copic, there's a great challenge and toot on grass by Kim. Was a little worried about the colors I used, but it turned out ok. I didn't add the little flowers though since the card is for a boy.

Card is for the challenges at:
Color Me Copic - Grass Tutorial Challenge
Taylored Expressions - TESC #125
Lollipops Crafts - Pets (oops missed the deadline!)

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Cards, Cards, Cards...

Lately I felt I've made so many cards that I couldn't keep up with posting them. But in reality, it was just a few. It just takes me long to get one finished! LOL! I've had birthdays, graduations, and Father's Day. If I was better organized I would have finished the one for my DH first, but I didn't =(  so I owe him one!
I was so caught up in making the graduation cards, that for the birthday cards I needed, I used some of the ones I already made...uh, I guess that what they're for! Then I had 3 cards to make for Father's Day (that would be my DH, my dad, and FIL-just to make it clear LOL!), but I only ended up with one...and it didn't turned out so good. First it was supposed to be an easel card, but it ended up being a tent card. But when I glued down everything and stood up the card, the inside image was NOT right! I guess cuz I glued it to the back, it was "looking" down. Don't know if you can understand what I'm trying to describe, but I can tell you it was so odd, I didn't even take a pic of it!! LOL!

I did have better luck with my grad cards - all three of them!!

First one is for my nephew's high school graduation. The cute grad owl is from a website that I can't remember.  I was searching thru so many, I forgot to get the link for it. Anyway, I made the "congratulations" background paper using MS Word. Then just popped on the shiny grad owl, and of course used the school colors. Kept it pretty simple since it was for my nephew, can't be too cute! hehee!

I had a lot fun making these two cards for my nieces. They are sisters and both are graduating this year, one from middle school and the other from elementary.
For the older sister, I used the adorable monkey from ATS Flower Power set, which also comes with the single flower with l'il ladybug atop! I used copics, stickles and glossy accents to make it shiny! Again I made the Happy Graduation circle from MS Word, and even had to handcut this circle! Boy that was nerve wrackin! I had to fill-in lots of red around the black border with a black sharpie. I think I need to get a round nestie! DP is from Creative Imaginations which my dd helped pick out at Michael's. Finished it with a piece of cardstock stamped with stars and a few dew drops!

Next up is the card for the younger sister, she's going to start middle school next fall! I love this adorable star bugg fairy from Tiddly Inks. Her school colors are maroon and white, so that's what I went with. Copics, stickles are glossy accents are here again to make the sweet fairy shine! I found this cute DP from Basic Grey at the local Beverly's craft store. Didn't want to cut it up, but I did...very sparingly! Ooh, and the sentiment is from AmyR's Big Words set. I love this set, and of course the Handy Additions set too!

Pheww...that was long! Thanks for stopping by and to read my ramblings...
Have a great day! ;)

Off to the Ball...

Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone (in the US) is enjoying the day off, and let's not forget to give a moment to remember our fallen heroes.

Now, this little princess is ready for the ball. She's new from Tiddly Inks, and there's a brand new collection of royal princesses. They are having a big sale tomorrow, so hurry over and check out the very cute images by Christy Croll! I picked up this little cutie called Petite Q, and she's perfect for my neice upcoming birthday!

Sparkling princess ready for her dance at the ball...

Used copics to color this princess in my neice fav colors, pink and purple! Gave her some shine and bling, and couple of butterfly gems. The flower border is a MS punch, and added some sparkles to the flowers. I found this dp at a local craft store (Beverly's) and it's from Cloud9 Design papers called Pixie Dust. So pretty I didn't want to cover it up too much!

I'm entering this into a few challenges this week:
Tiddly Inks: bring on the bling
Whimsical Wednesday/Deidrich Dare: make it sparkle
Your Next Stamp: use border punch

Have a fantastic day and thanks for stopping by! ;)

I Wish...

I made this card following the Whimsical Wednesday  challenge. But I got side-tracked with work, lost track of time, and then forgot about the time zone difference...oh well.  I had fun doing it, and luckily I can enter it in the Tiddly Inks challenge. These are such fun colors to play with. Wish I had better dp paper though!

here's a close-up of  an adorable digi image from Tiddly Inks

I colored the image with copics, added stickles and glossy accents.  Flower, ribbon and sentiment are from Michael's.  DP is from a very old stash of DCWV retro print paper pack...I need to buy some NEW papers!! hehee!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Tiddly Inks Challenge #1

What a coincidence...Tiddly Inks is having their first challenge, and this my first challenge entry on my blog! (I'm nervous, I hope I get this right!) I just had to enter this challenge because the challenge was announced was on 4/20, which hapened to be my dd's birthday, and guess what I made for her party favor?  This fabulous favor box with a Tiddly Inks image!! I got this fun freebie from Tiddly Inks' PCP page. Since my dd collect turtles (a couple live SMALL ones, but mostly not), I decided to make these boxes for her birthday and used this fabulous digi.

my dd picked this one to keep. we filled the boxes with post-it notes, mini-sharpie, and chocolate!

I recently won some wonderful candy from Michelle, and configured a templete from the basket that she sent me. (I will do another post on the win and send my late thanks to Michelle very soon!) I colored my image with Copics. Added some stickles on the shell and used glossy accents on the heart. DP were from me&my big ideas, and used a MS punch around the overlap edge.

Thanks for stopping by! ;)
