To Ewe...

Hi Everyone! It's Wednesday and time for a reminder to join us as All That Scraps Challenge! The current challenge is CAS - clean and simple... and here's my take on it...
This is Ornament Ewe and a matching sentiment from last year's release. Used a Spellbinder's Reverse Wonky Rectangles, and cut a couple of banners from the xmas scrap pile. To add some metallic sparkle, used the Clear Star pen around the edges of the ornament and the frame of the wonky rectangle. Found a metallic silver button and some silver elastic tie for the bow.

Here's a pic of the inside...
yup... another gift card holder! stamped with a sentiment from Amy R's Winter set.

Please stop by the ATS Challenge blog to see more from the team. You still have plenty of time to link up and the prize this time is 3 CC Design Rubber Stamps!!!

Thanks for stopping by...
Have a wonderful day! ;D

My card today features Sweet November's Jilly's Candle, but I've altered it so that Jilly is holding a heart stick with a couple of flowing keys. Here are a couple of pics that show the dimensions of the card...

Summer Fun with Meljen's

Today at Lollipop Crafts, we are shining our spotlight on
Here's a little about the company:
Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and is steadily growing! Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!

Today my card features the darling "Little Fish" image which I've had colored for awhile now. Originally I was going to make a post-it note holder with it, but time has never been on my side . LOL! So it sat patiently in the drawer waiting and waiting....
until today! I found a great sketch over at Sketch N Stash... aside from my image, other stash items include the scrap papers used for the swirl and bottom dp. It's great to be able use them! The warm summer colors are just what I need to try to stay relaxed this summer.

Now let's see what you can come up with for this week's CELEBRATION challenge at Lollipop Crafts. One lucky random winner will be awarded a prize of 4 digis of choice!! Isn't that SWEET?!?!
Thanks for stopping by! ;)

C.A.T.S. July

Hey everyone! My missing mojo is making a small comeback and so finally got a chance to complete one of my projects for this month... for my C.A.T.S. July partner Linda! The theme for this month was to use red, white, and blue - since I'm way past July 4th holiday, I tried using different blues on my project. This darling stamp is called Lil' Bug Emma from CC Designs' Sugarplum line, and it was part of my SS swap goodies from Linda! I just love this cutie and had to use it and make something for her.
Here is the card...
Colored with Copics, added white flock on the wings (can't really see it), and stickles all over her red leotard! Sentiment is from Studio G clear stamp set (from Kris P.), stamped onto the smallest scalloped rectangle Nestie set. I love the postage stamps that I see everywhere, this is pretty close to it!
Next is my matching tag...

back view

and this is the cute card and tag set I got from Linda...
She used the darling Kiyomi from the brand new line Sister Stamps!

Ok...now that my mojo is slowly creeping back, i've got a few more projects to finish up this week!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Butterflies are here...

Did everyone enjoy their weekend? Mine was WET! and the forecast is for rain all week! :q  To look on the bright side of it, when the storm rolls over, we'll be left with fresh spring air and soon butterflies will be  fluttering about! But wait, over at Lollipop Crafts, the BUTTERFLIES have arrived early!! Denise is challenging you to create with butterflies on your project. Our fabulous sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish and they have an amazing prize for one lucky winner!
Head over to the Lollipop Crafts challenge and see the pretty creations the DT made this week!

For my card this week, I chose Marci with Rose from La-La Land Crafts. She is so pretty and the butterflies love her sweet rose!

I've had this digi for a while now, but never had a chance to color her until now. But I think I'm in LUV!!!
She is adorable and her outfits are so fun to color and the newest release is super cute! I'll have to try Luka next! Both Marci and Luka is available here.

LOVE is everywhere...

Guess who I found hiding. . .Miko from TGF's Roll Call Kit. Don't you think she's the perfect cutie for a valentine card?  This week at Club Anya's Mystery Monday is a gorgeous card by Linapyssel! Here's my version of the fun layout. . .

Using one of my favorite color combos, pink and green, I colored Miko in copics and just gave her a slight shimmer on her dress and bows with Sakura clear stardust pen. The heart and key punch is from Martha Stewart, perfect for the journal paper called Love Letters from Little Yellow Bicycle. Used a strip of hearts from Basic Grey's Olivia papers, pink cardstock is embossed with a cuttlebug folder, background cardstock is randomly stamped with AmyR's sentiment set, and the hearts and stars banner is a border stamp from Recollections (found at Michael's).
Here's a little tip for those who don't have many colors of floss or baker's twine. . .I used a kraft colored hemp cord and inked it with green chalk inkpad. Now I have the perfect twine to tie my buttons!

You Take The Cake...

Is it Saturday already? How time flies when you're having fun!!  Today I have a card for the Tiddly Inks Challenge. It's a sketch challenge designed by the fabulous Betty Boo.

This adorable cutie and sentiment are from the set called Cherry on Top. I love the cupcakes, but have a tough time coloring them! Just can't seem to get it to blend right. Maybe it's time to get more copics in the same color groups.  hehee!

I added some swirls on the bottom corner. Wish I had some "real" pearl swirls, but I don't...so this is drawn with Sakura Stardust Clear pen, then added Lavender Lace liquid pearls. The pearls came out lighter than I wanted... you know what that means... gotta get more colors!

Challenges:
Tiddly Inks - Sketch by Betty Boo
Karber Weekly Challenge - Food/Beverage
Stamp and Create - Pearls & Gems
Flutter by Wednesday - Open, all winged things

Have a great weekend...and thanks for stopping by! ;)
