Butterflies

Hey everyone! The days just go by so quickly... it's Wednesday and time for a reminder of the current challenge over at All That Scraps... we want to see your Paper Piecing projects!

Ima Butterfly from last year's release is one of my fave Swiss Pixie girls. She's so cute with her boots and gorgeous wings! The sentiment stamp is from the Spring Logo set, and also a couple of butterflies from the CC Cutters Butterflies Dies. I'm trying a different type of card design this time, inspired by the cute CAS cards from my blogging friend, Alice. It's a great way to use up some scraps too!

New Baby

Happy Wednesday! We are into the second week of the current All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge... a color challenge using RED, PINK and CHOCOLATE!

This is Swiss Pixie Baby Girl from the new January release, which is now available at the ATS store! Colored it up with Copics, gems, some stickles on the blocks, and followed the Deconstructed Sketch #82. Papers are from MME Blush collection, and distressed with Colorbox brown ink. The brown lace is from a local Japanese dollar store called Daiso, they have a ton of good household items plus some crafting supplies! Finished it with a ribbon (from Michael's), some baker's twine, and a button from Makin' Memories.

Time to Laugh

Welcome back! This is my second post today, if you're looking for Lollipop Crafts sponsor spotlight, please scroll down, or click here.

It's a new challenge today at All That Scraps and this time we want to see C.A.S. - clean and simple! I made a gift card/money envelope using C.C. Designs Gnome.

Colored him up with Copics, then fussy cut him out and added a embroidery floss for the fishing line. Also added a double layer of grass borders from CC Cutters. One piece of paper from the Me&My Big Ideas Autumn layers paper pad, and stamped sentiment from Hero Arts.

Lollipop Crafts Ch#95 Happy Holidays

Hi all! I'm a bit late posting this up, but today Lollipop Crafts has a new bi-weekly challenge, and the theme this time is Happy Holidays! Just show us Christmas or other winter holiday cards, scrapbook pages or crafty gifts. Come back on Wednesday to see who is our sponsor and what the awesome prize is!

Today I've made some gift tags using Whimsie Doodle images...

Colored them up with Copics markers and added just a touch of shimmer with Clear Star gel pen. The tag die is from Sizzix, some scraps from Recollections xmas paper pad, snowflakes from MS punch and a mini punch, ribbons and buttons to finish it off. The back is stamped with a sentiment and left enough room to add a name.

Fa La La La La ...

Happy Wednesday! I took a little unexpected break from crafting and blogging since the Thanksgiving weekend, but I'm back today with a reminder post for All That Scraps Challenge! This is week two of our popular ANYTHING GOES theme!

Today I have Sugarplum Emma and the Music Border die, both from the CC Designs October release. Followed a sketch from Papertake Weekly, and papers are from Bo Bunny's Winter Joy. Sentiment stamp is from Studio G, and cut with a Spellbinders Eyelet Circles die.

Sparkle Creations November Preview Day 2

Hello all! So did you all get a chance to see Charlotte? Isn't she pretty? Well, today we have another preview to show... Mistletoe Lucy!! All new stamps will be available at the SCRS store Saturday Nov 10th!

Followed the layout from Sketch For You To Try, colored Lucy up with Copics, and papers are from Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas. Used White Liquid Pearls all around Lucy and the mistletoe berries. The MS snowflake punch (and a mini craft punch) layers were punched from red textured paper, kraft paper, and matching Echo Park paper, then sponged with white ink, covered with stickles, and finally a pearl gem in the center.

Be sure to visit all rest of the SCRS designers for more peeks of Mistletoe Lucy. Sparkle will be giving away to one lucky person! Happy October!! Wow where did all the days go? With the warm weather here in the SF Bay Area... it seems like it's still summer! Anyways... today at Lollipop Crafts we start a new challenge where we want you to use SOMETHING OLD and SOMETHING NEW! We all know Halloween is just around the corner. So here's a little treat for some one...

What's old? The spiderweb border punch from MS, papers, and ribbon! What's new? My favorite new box die from Papertrey Ink, and a cute bat from Sweet November Pumpkin Set available at the ATS store. Put in a few treats and it's ready to go!

Snoopy and Hello Kitty...

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend! It sure went by fast!! Today is Lollipop Crafts new challenge ... ANYTHING GOES!! an easy one where you can be as creative as you want!

Over the weekend, it was my niece's birthday and her theme this year is Snoopy, but she's a BIG Hello Kitty lover! So I decided to have them both on her card...

I used a step card base and added a panel on the last step. The back has a little pocket where I put a larger tag with a birthday message. Snoopy, Woodstock, and Hello Kitty are from coloring pages found on the internet (sorry but forgot to mark the link). She's turning 7, so I added it to the cake Snoopy's holding. Her name is computer generated and cut into little blocks.

April Showers...

Happy Saturday everyone! I've been kinda lost this week... why? because my computer crashed... HARD!! All I could think of was all my pictures of family events for the last year and a half... birthdays, vacations, graduations, christmas!! LOST... GONE!! ;{  Luckily, I was able to transfer out all my data with another computer, but it gave me quite a scare! and a real good lesson for not backing-up regularly! You bet I will from now!!

So since my computer time has been limited (sharing with my daughter), I've had some time to come up with this card...

Using one of the new April release from All That Scraps, it's Rainy Day Birgitta. She so adorable  taking cover from the rain with that giant leaf umbrella! All the new April releases are now available at the ATS store! I used scraps from BG Kioshi pack, a half used doily, and stenciled in some clouds.

The double tag has a hidden message on the second tag...
