Happy {heart} Day!

Hi Everyone! Hope your week is off to a good start. Today I'm sharing this sweet little gal from Whimsie Doodles, and the best thing is... she's FREE!

You can download her right here from the Whimsie Doodles store. Followed the newest Sweet Sunday Sketch using paper from Basic Grey's Kissing Booth. Colored the cutie with Copics, added some sparkles with Stickles and Sakura Clear Star pen. The red heart is hand cut and the hanging heart charm is actually a Tiny Tag from PaperTrey Ink.

Valentine tags

Happy Saturday! I'm popping in today to share the valentine tags I made with the cute Whimisie Doodles images.

The image is part of a cool set of 8 images plus sentiments, and two print sheets to make gift tags! This tag was pretty simple and quick to make. Just print, color, and cut out the gift tags. Then adhere it onto a tag... mine is handmade... just a 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 rectangle, border punch one end, and cut out the corners on the other, punch a whole and add your ribbons! Found a free digi heart banner background that I printed out and wrapped it around the candy bar. Then just add your finished tag!

Whimsie Doodles Challenge

Hey Everyone! I'm so excited to be part of the Whimsie Doodles team this month as Guest Artist! Today starts the new monthly challenge... a fun sketch created by Laura!

I chose to play with one of the new digis available in the shop now. This adorable owl is part of the Valentine  Gift Tags. Colored it up with Copics, and cut out with Spellbinders Standard Circle Large dies. Used the CC Designs Phlox Flower die to make a layered flower, and added a button with twine. The background paper is from MME So Sophie, and the leaf dp is MMBI Autumn Layers.

Happy Monday!! I'm finally getting a chance to share my first project as Whimsie Doodle's January Guest Artist!

They have incredibly cute digis, and I used a few of them for my Christmas tags, and that's how I was picked as the guest artist! Today I'm sharing...

Blogger Boy from their December release! He's adorable and fun to play with! I followed a sketch from Deconstructed Sketch #83

 and the papers are from MME Lime Twist collection. Added a couple of buttons and twine to make this a simple boy card. Sentiment stamp is from Studio G.

Hi all! I'm a bit late posting this up, but today Lollipop Crafts has a new bi-weekly challenge, and the theme this time is Happy Holidays! Just show us Christmas or other winter holiday cards, scrapbook pages or crafty gifts. Come back on Wednesday to see who is our sponsor and what the awesome prize is!

Today I've made some gift tags using Whimsie Doodle images...

Colored them up with Copics markers and added just a touch of shimmer with Clear Star gel pen. The tag die is from Sizzix, some scraps from Recollections xmas paper pad, snowflakes from MS punch and a mini punch, ribbons and buttons to finish it off. The back is stamped with a sentiment and left enough room to add a name.
