Aloha Aurora

Aloha everyone! Today is my final project with the new Sister Stamp June release. This is Aurora...
Isn't she just gorgeous? Her beautiful hair and pretty seashell crown. This time I tried to mix oranges and pink for her hair, and a iridescent color for her seashell top and matching crown. She has a couple of friends joining her in the colorful ocean water! The glittery "Aloha" cut-out is from Jenny (thanks Jenny!), and can be purchased from Island Scrapbooking. Found a couple of old flowers in the perfect colors and added a tiny seashell in the center of one.

Thank you Jenny for having me as Guest Designer for this fun, fun release! It's been a blast coloring the mermaids, and since summertime is here, I'll be making more projects with them soon! Also thanks to all of you that left me such sweet comments! It just makes this a perfect way to end this month!

Make sure you stop at Debi's blog and the Sister Stamp blog, cause there's alot more to see! Sister Stamps is also releasing another set of the Zodiac Animals! Both releases will be available tomorrow June 1st!

Thanks so much for stopping by...
have a fantastic weekend! ;D

Meet Simona...

Welcome back to another day of Sister Stamps June release preview! My post today features Simona...
I wanted this card to have a more natural look, so I chose only couple of colors to compliment the browns. The starfishes were fussy cut and layered on top of her beautiful hair. Used a star tag and turned it into a starfish charm tied with twine. The green leaf-like border is part of an old ribbon pack from Michael's Recollections, and finally added some flowers and seashells at the bottom corner.

I have to admit, Simona's hair was a challenge to color. This is the third try that you see here. First try, the markers started to make ugly streaks. Then tried to color her hair only and  paper piece it on, but NOPE, that didn't work. So finally, I decided to re-stamp and color her entirely with different hair color than the original one. I have to fix those darn markers!

Okay... if you haven't yet, stop over at Debi's blog and Sister Stamps blog to see more cute stuff! One more day tomorrow to share the last of the mermaids!

Have a wonderful day! ;D

Sister Stamps Eliana

Oh my... have you seen the new Sister Stamps...

and guess what... I've been invited to be the guest designer for the newest June release!! The mermaids are just too cute and plenty of fun to color! Today, I'm featuring Eliana. She's swimming in her beautiful ocean of flowers and stopping to visit some friends. Inspired by Debi's shaker cards with sequins, I decided to finally try it! Followed her technique of using tape, but not washi tape since it was going to be covered up.  It was fun and easy to make, I'll be trying it again soon!

Please head over to Debi's blog and the Sister Stamps blog to see more of the new releases! and be sure to leave some sweet comments at the official Sister Stamps blog for some a chance to win!

Hello all and happy Wednesday! Today is start of a new challenge at All That Scraps... everyone's favorite... ANYTHING GOES!!

I guess you can say I'm in the holiday mood lately. This time I made a gift card holder...
with Yuki from Sister Stamp. The box die and the little tag are both from PTI, and the border punch from MS. Finally get a chance to play along the Yumi & Fumi Handmade current challenge, to have no patterned paper! That had me stumped for awhile, but then I thought of... embossing! So I gave it another try, and this time it turned out better... a little?  hehee! I used a sparkle embossing powder on the green cardstock. The picture doesn't show it too well, but it's there! lol!

here's another view...

Kiyoko...

Happy Wednesday!! Here in quickly today to remind you of the current ATS Challenge... ANYTHING GOES... my card features Kiyoko from Sister Stamps which is available at the ATS store...

This step card I made for my niece's birthday who turned 7 last week! Her birthday is the day right after July 4th, so Kiyoko holding sparklers was perfect! Kiyoko's kimono is paper-pieced with some washi paper, and matched the card with the same paper. It also has a CC Cutters Cupcake, cut with some paper scraps. The tag has a birthday message for the birthday girl, and can be tucked into a hidden pocket on the back of the last step. ATS store carries all the Sister Stamps, including the newly released Mariko, Miyoko, and Takeo!

Stop by the ATS Challenge blog to see more inspiration from the team! Be sure to follow the simple rules, and you may be the lucky winner of 5 CC Designs Digi stamps!

For Mama...

Happy Monday everyone! Ready for a new challenge from Lollipop Crafts? Well this week, it's MAMA MIA!! Just create card/project for Mother's Day! Visit the LC blog for more details, and our sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs!

For my card today, I have Mei Li from Sister Stamps. I won her awhile back (from Jenny) and was inspired by my fellow DT Leanne's post here, so finally I inked her up!
Mei Li's pretty outfit is lined with golden sparkles using Stickles. Kept the layout fairly simple against the pretty washi paper. Added a nice green border on the bottom and the edges inked with a golden orange MS ink pad. The sentiment is from Penny Black, which could be for any occasion.

Card Supplies:
Image - Mei Li (Sister Stamps), sentiment (Penny Black)
Copics - skin: E50 E51 E00 R20 hair: C3 C5 C7 100, outfit/lantern: R32 R35 R37 Y17 Y23 YR04 G14 G17
Other - Momento Ink, MS Ink, Stickles (gold), washi paper, DCWV cardstock, Spellbinder Circles, EK Success border punch, Recollections flowers/gems

Wishing You...

all Health, Happiness, and Prosperity in the New Year!
Here's a card I made earlier this month for my MIL's birthday. This adorable little girl is Kiyoko from Sister Stamps, and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. Found some scrap origami paper from my dd's stash, and paper-pieced her kimono with it too!

What a year it's been... thank you to my followers, and visitors too, for all the sweet luv and support. It's been so much fun learning from all the fabulous crafters out there, and being able to share my inspiration with you too. I've had a wonderful experience being with the Lollipop Team for 2 terms, and looking forward to working with the ATS Digi team as well in the new year!

Thanks for stopping by...
have a Safe and Happy New Year!!
