Sweet Esther

Hello everyone! All That Scraps has a new challenge today... Paper Piecing!! I don't do this often, mainly because I tend to not pick the right paper to use. Well here's my take on it this time...

Using the newly released Sweet November Esther, this little tag can be used for any occasion. She's colored with Copics and dressed with Basic Grey's Hello Luscious. Sizzix tag diecut is a pink cardstock from DCWV, and sentiment is from Hero Arts Friendship Message set.

A New Start

Happy New Year!! Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and got a chance to spend time with family and friends! So are you ready for the new year? How about a new challenge? Today on All That Scraps Challenge is the start of a new COLOR challenge... PINK, RED, and CHOCOLATE.

Heart Kiki La Rue is from the ATS December release. Followed the sketch from The Sweet Stop, and with this adorable sweetheart, it could be used for any occasion... reason why I left out a sentiment. Paper is from BG Kissing Booth, a heart with key punch from MS, and a border punch from EK Success. Finished it a ribbon from Michael's, and all sides distressed with Colorbox brown ink.

Lollipop Crafts Ch #87

Happy Monday!! Lollipop Crafts starts a new challenge today and both teams are playing along. The theme this week is ANYTHING GOES!!

It was my cousin's one year old daughter's birthday party this past weekend, and I made this card using Balloon Lucy from CC Designs. Colored her up in Copics, added Stickles and Clear Stardust glitter pen for her pretty dress. Found a great sketch at The Sweet Stop, flipped it up to fit this sweet image. Papers are from BG Kioshi pad... almost all gone. sniff! sniff! :(  But couldn't resist using the pretty purple and green combo. Used Spellbinders Nestabilites round die-cuts for the sentiment, CC Design Cutters for the butterfly, and EK Success border punch. Studio G sentiments, ribbon and gem from Michael's.

Dressing Up Emma

Hello all! Are you having a nice relaxing summer? or it is just zipping by... like mine is! For me, it's already half-way through summer break, and I haven't gotten anything checked off on my "TO DO LIST"! which is mainly cleaning and clearing out clutter in the house. Maybe cuz that's not FUN... LOL! But I did have some fun making this card for the ATS Challenge reminder post...

Summer Emma's dress and matching hair clip was designed using BG Konnichiwa paper pad. DCWV cardstock for the solid background and distressed the edges with white inkpad from Studio G. Spellbinder's Scalloped Rectangle and Labels Three were used for the shapes. Sentiment also from Studio G, and Recollections's small flower and gems. Finished off with Carribean twine from The Twinery.

Inside of the card was designed to hold a gift card...

Coordinated the inside with scrap pieces, and randomly stamped sentiments and flowers - also from Studio G.  It's quite simple to make and I'll be making more to keep handy. All That Scraps - January Digi Preview...

Hi all! Today is preview day for the All That Scraps Digi Team, and we have some brand new Lucy images from the Swiss Pixie line to show you! Continuing with the birthday celebration theme for January's new release, here is Surprise Lucy...

She's just so thrilled to be celebrating... like I am... so excited to be on the ATS Digi Team and with my first preview post!! The sentiment is from the Party Time Logo set. To get the stamped edge look, I used a small flower punch and just using the tip of the punch, went all around the image... had to put my glasses on for that! LOL! I got a bunch of new paper during the holiday sales... this one is Basic Grey's Hopscotch. Love the pretty soft colors in these papers! Added some twine, sparkle, and shine! There you have it... my first card for ATS!! ;D

Princess Twins...

Hello! Oh my... it's been awhile since my last post! the days are just flying by... there just aren't enough hours in a day! hehee! now... how many more days until Christmas?!! O-M-G!!! :{
Today I want to share a card, or two, that I made over the weekend for a pair of twin girls' first birthday.

Princess Tia from SOG is so adorable, and is perfect for little girls birthdays! I colored her up in different shades of green but kept the pink for both cards. Used papers from  BG Olivia, and picked the cardstock to match the skirts. Added some gloss on the crowns and some shimmer with the stardust pen in her hair, crown and outfit. Sentiment stamp is from Birthday Letter Seals from Whimsy Stamps, and colored it up to match the outfits.

The front of the card follows a sketch from The Sweet Stop... (forgot to take a pic of the card closed) and SOG current challenge is to make an easel card.

Time to Sit and Relax...

how I wish it could be more often!! The card I'm sharing today is a birthday card with a masculine theme. Background paper (from MME) looks kinda pinkish here, but IRL it's more red. Anyway... it's something different than what I've done before... using objects as the main focal image. I followed a fun sketch from The Sweet Stop, used a Hero Arts stamp set that was part of my prize package from Lily Pad Cards, and sentiment is also from another Hero Arts set. I also joined the Basic Grey challenge to mix and match different BG products... the two panels from Oliver paper pad and brads from the Olivia set.

Thanks for joining me again today...it's been exactly one year ago that I've started this amazing fun journey with this blog. I never would have imagined where it's taken me and the many cherished friends that I've made! Your sweet and inspiring comments are so appreciated and each time I visit your blogs I learn something new and inspiring too!
My first entry a year ago was a party favor box I made for my DD's birthday party, today I would like to share the card I made for her birthday this year.

She loves this line of images from Pachela Studios and this cutie is Toby Tumble. He is the sweetest rabbit, and he has many cute little friends! Her fave color right now is this soft sage, purple and blue has always been her favorites too, so I used copics BV colors for Toby's shirt and colored in some of the flowers to match. The HB tag stamp is from Inkadinkado, and the dp is BG's Kioshi. She was thrilled to see her card, and some of the other images I got too!
