Happy Wednesday! Time again for another All That Scraps Challenge reminder...the theme this time is WINGED THINGS!!

This is Sweet November's newest pixie, Maribelle! She's so adorable, ready to spread her wings in this nice spring weather! Followed the current Deconstructed Sketch #95 for this, and it's a another great one! I was able to use mostly scraps pieces for this awesome layout! The papers are from Basic Grey's Plumeria collection.

Sweet Esther

Hello everyone! All That Scraps has a new challenge today... Paper Piecing!! I don't do this often, mainly because I tend to not pick the right paper to use. Well here's my take on it this time...

Using the newly released Sweet November Esther, this little tag can be used for any occasion. She's colored with Copics and dressed with Basic Grey's Hello Luscious. Sizzix tag diecut is a pink cardstock from DCWV, and sentiment is from Hero Arts Friendship Message set.

Valentine Treats

Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last post. I've had a change in my work schedule, so less time for me to craft! {very sad} :(  I finally got to finish my ATS Challenge reminder project...

Isn't he cute? Cupid Mickey is from the ATS December release, and you can find him at the ATS store! Here are a couple of other views of the treat box...

It can hold a few treats inside, and the black flap tucks into the back of the box. The front has a Tiny Tag from Papertrey Ink with a hand written message. Found  a piece of scrap for the backside to hold down the flap.

Now, I have something to share with you all! Do you have trouble threading twine through tiny holes? It was so frustrating for me...  keep having to cut off the frayed tip... needles with eyes that are too big... took FOREVER to get it through!! I finally did a search online for some help... and guess what I found...

a floss threader! it's the perfect tool to thread twine (or any string) through the tiniest hole!! so smooth and simple! can't wait to use it for buttons!!

Happy Monday!! Today at Lollipop Crafts, is the start of our month long challenge... WE ARE THANKFUL... create a card/project with the theme of being thankful! Since the holidays are coming around quickly, we want you to have plenty of time to participate, so this challenge will run until Dec 1st. So here's my card for today...

It's always great to have some of these handy, and this set of stamps is called Thank You Tiles from Whimsy Stamps. I wanted to make a set of these, but didn't have enough time to finish for the post, but when it's finished I'll post them to share!

Hi all! Today at ATS Challenge blog is the start a new challenge, and this time it's A.B.C. - Anything But a Card! Using the new Elf Lucy, I made a Christmas tag...

Every year I say that we should make our own tags for Christmas, but we always run out of time. But now I have at least one! lol! Hopefully we (the kids and I) can make more, if we start today, we have about 67 days before Christmas!!

Dear Hubby...

Happy Monday! Today I'm celebrating a special day with my hubby... it's our anniversary! He surprised me with a dozen red roses this morning... that he put together after I went to sleep last night. But then he had to work today, so we will go out for a nice dinner another night! I baked him some yummy banana bread and made this card...

It was hard to find a image that would fit a guy and for an anniversay, but I came across this retired TGF stamp set and it came with a perfect sentiment, "hoo loves you"? and the inside says "me!" (sorry forgot to take a pic of it) Finally I was willing to use some of the SEI Moonrise paper that I've had for the lonnnngest time!

I made a little note box here with the newest Beatrice's Crayon stamp. She ready for school and this handy little box can hold some post-it notes or small knick-knacks. Great to help keep her desk organized!

Dressing Up Emma

Hello all! Are you having a nice relaxing summer? or it is just zipping by... like mine is! For me, it's already half-way through summer break, and I haven't gotten anything checked off on my "TO DO LIST"! which is mainly cleaning and clearing out clutter in the house. Maybe cuz that's not FUN... LOL! But I did have some fun making this card for the ATS Challenge reminder post...

Summer Emma's dress and matching hair clip was designed using BG Konnichiwa paper pad. DCWV cardstock for the solid background and distressed the edges with white inkpad from Studio G. Spellbinder's Scalloped Rectangle and Labels Three were used for the shapes. Sentiment also from Studio G, and Recollections's small flower and gems. Finished off with Carribean twine from The Twinery.

Inside of the card was designed to hold a gift card...

Coordinated the inside with scrap pieces, and randomly stamped sentiments and flowers - also from Studio G.  It's quite simple to make and I'll be making more to keep handy.
