Sister Stamps Eliana

Oh my... have you seen the new Sister Stamps...

and guess what... I've been invited to be the guest designer for the newest June release!! The mermaids are just too cute and plenty of fun to color! Today, I'm featuring Eliana. She's swimming in her beautiful ocean of flowers and stopping to visit some friends. Inspired by Debi's shaker cards with sequins, I decided to finally try it! Followed her technique of using tape, but not washi tape since it was going to be covered up.  It was fun and easy to make, I'll be trying it again soon!

Valentine Treats

Hi everyone! It's been a while since my last post. I've had a change in my work schedule, so less time for me to craft! {very sad} :(  I finally got to finish my ATS Challenge reminder project...

Isn't he cute? Cupid Mickey is from the ATS December release, and you can find him at the ATS store! Here are a couple of other views of the treat box...

It can hold a few treats inside, and the black flap tucks into the back of the box. The front has a Tiny Tag from Papertrey Ink with a hand written message. Found  a piece of scrap for the backside to hold down the flap.

Now, I have something to share with you all! Do you have trouble threading twine through tiny holes? It was so frustrating for me...  keep having to cut off the frayed tip... needles with eyes that are too big... took FOREVER to get it through!! I finally did a search online for some help... and guess what I found...

a floss threader! it's the perfect tool to thread twine (or any string) through the tiniest hole!! so smooth and simple! can't wait to use it for buttons!!

Hi everyone! Today is All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge, and it's our popular ANYTHING GOES!!!

This adorable guy is from CC Designs November release, Latte Monkey... isn't he just the cutest? and the coffee cup is from CC Cutters Cocoa and Coffe Die set! Computer generated sentiment, then cut out with the Spellbinders Labels 8 die. Papers are from MME Lil Robot... just love the colors! With Thanksgiving being tomorrow, the kids have no school today, so we'll be baking today for tomorrow's big dinner... X2! We'll be celebrating with my family as well as my hubby's. So there's gonna be alot of food!!

Happy Monday!! Today at Lollipop Crafts, is the start of our month long challenge... WE ARE THANKFUL... create a card/project with the theme of being thankful! Since the holidays are coming around quickly, we want you to have plenty of time to participate, so this challenge will run until Dec 1st. So here's my card for today...

One more treat...

Happy Monday!! Did you all have a good weekend? It sure went by fast!! So to start off the week, how about a brand new challenge from Lollipop Crafts?? This time we want you to make Anything But a Card with a Halloween theme. It's right around the corner, so what's better than a little treat box...

In fact, this one doubled as a birthday card for a friend. The little drawer holds a few mini candy bars and a gift card. Here's another view...

The size of the box only is 4x3, and very simple to make. I've never done a tutorial before, but if you all are interested, I can give it a shot! Just leave me a comment if you would like to see how this was made.

More treats...

Happy Wednesday!! It's All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge reminder today, and I'm still in the mood for more Halloween treats!

Using two images from Sweet November Pumpkin Fun set (click here to see the third),  I made some real simple, quick and easy treat holders. But as you can see, it wasn't that easy for me on the embossing! LOL! It didn't turn out too clean, but used them anyways cause they are too cute to throw out! Guess I need more practice on embossing! and maybe watch a quick "how-to" video would help! hahaa! 

here's a pic of the back and little peek from the side...

This little candy tote was pretty easy to make. Just a few pieces of scrap paper, punch two sets of holes (or you can use eyelets), and add a piece of twine. The candy can slip in and out pretty easily, so add a small glue dot to secure it.

Snorkeling Fun...

Hi everyone! Today at All That Scraps is the start of our new challenge with USING DIES! I love to use die cuts to add some shape and dimensions to cards. My card for today is a shaped card using a Spellbinders Nestabilities Reverse Wonky Rectangles.

Snorkeling Beatrice is enjoying the rest of the summer, and is stopping to wave hi at the camera! Added plenty of sparkling bubbles and some gloss on her goggles. Isn't she just adorable? Image is stamped on textured cardstock, and the coloring technique here is with Copics markers and softened with the colorless blender marker. Using the largest of the Reverse Wonky Rectangle for the card shape and next size down for the image. Added an orange strip of cardstock , a fun ribbon, and a simple round diecut for the sentiment. Great way to make card when you need it quick! Thanks to Donna for sharing her creativity in making the most adorable shaped cards!

My Sunshine...

Happy Monday! and President's Day!  Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! Or if you're working, hope you get a chance to relax a bit. Today, there's a brand new challenge at Lollipop Crafts... and it's one of our most popular themes... ANYTHING GOES!!


I haven't made an easel card in awhile, so i thought it would be a great time to do so...

This is an adorable image from All That Scraps, Honey, from the CC Designs collection. The papers are BG's Hopscotch... love the beautiful colors! So the "rain" (top half paper) turns into "flowers" (papers on bottom), and with some sunshine brings a beautiful garden of flowers behind the picket fence! The flowers are made with CC Design Cutters, and here are some close-up pics...

Cupcake with sprinkles...

Hi everyone! Is it Friday already??  Where do all the days go?? Well, I'm certainly ready for the weekend... but first, today at All That Scraps the digi team is reviewing their favorite CC Designs images. There are PLENTY of adorable images that could be my favorite... so for me to pick one was simply too difficult!! So, I'm sharing with you my newest stamp...

She is just one of the new Fairwees designed by Amy Young, and you can find all the Fairwees here at All That Scraps store. This sweet fairwee was fussy cut and her cupcake is adorned with pink gems and liquid pearl frosting! Found this tutorial for a treat holder... alter the measurements a bit... now she's the perfect size for this yummy Ghiradelli chocolate treat!

the sentiment is stamped in black ink, then used white gel pen to highlight.
