Round n Round...

Hi everyone! Hope all is well with everybody! I've been super busy this past week, kiddos were on Spring break, and that means every few minutes I hear.... "MOMMMM!" I tried to get some work done in the morning before they woke up, luckily they like to sleep in! But once they are up, it's breakfast, then lunch, and dinner around the corner. The week just flew by and now it's back to school!

Stickles found its way back! and so did some Liquid Pearls. Was kinda limited on space for a bow, but I found the perfect spot! :P

Butterflies are here...

Did everyone enjoy their weekend? Mine was WET! and the forecast is for rain all week! :q  To look on the bright side of it, when the storm rolls over, we'll be left with fresh spring air and soon butterflies will be  fluttering about! I've had this digi for a while now, but never had a chance to color her until now. But I think I'm in LUV!!!

DZ Doodles...

Today I have a card to share featuring our new sponsor, DZ Doodles, at Lollipop Crafts this week.

This is a darling little girl named Chloee with a big pretty hat and she can be colored for any occassion.

Followed a sketch from Sketch Saturday, dp are Basic Grey Kioshi collection, and used CB swirl embossing folder for the background. I love the MS fence punch, but often it doesn't look quite right on my cards, but this one did just perfect! For more inspiration take a peek at what our DT team has made!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I just wanna say that it was one of the best ones I've ever had! What made this birthday a bit more special was all the sweet, heart-warming bday wishes from the wonderful ladies I've met through blogland. Thank You for making my day extra special!!

Spotlight: Meljen's and a Special Card...

I have a special card to share today. My 10yo son decided to color along with me to showcase Meljen's Designs. He loves dragons because he was born in the lunar year of the Dragon. So he chose "Dragon's Little Friend" image to color using Copics, and picked papers from the BG Oliver collection. With a little help from me, we put it all together and came up with this...

Lollipop Challenge #29

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! This week is my turn to host the challenge at Lollipop Crafts. Kinda nerve wreckin', being my first, but so far so good! Now, my challenge is to create something with a CRITTER! That shouldn't be hard...there are so many cute furry critters to choose from! Even the scariest, creepiest monsters are so adorable! Our sponsor this week is Meljen's Designs (tons of whimsy critters there!), and for my card I chose the sweet Cuddle Dragon...

I followed a sketch from Fuzzy Wuzzy, a color recipe from Anita Be Stamping, and wouldn't you know it Meljen's Design challenge is also to use an animal. Can't get any better than that!

I kept away from stickles and glossy accents this time, just wanted to keep it clean and simple. I didn't add any sentiment yet, so this sweetest dragon can be for anything!
