Girl Princess...

Hi all! Are you surprised to hear from me again so soon? heheeee! I sure am!  Lately, my mojo's been either really detailed cards, like the one here, or CAS cards like the one today...

Got a fun sketch from Raise The Bar, and they're celebrating their 100th challenge! It's a pretty fun one too, see how it resembles the number 100? The stamp image is from TGF Build A Onsies Girl set, and I have the boy set too! Finally got a chance to ink it up and thought it would be fun to make a few small gift cards (4x4 size).  So far I only made this one... LOL! The Farm Fresh Friday Challenge is to use classic patterns paper, so I chose "argyle" with fun colors! I'll be inking up my boy Onsies set soon, but there's some birthday cards I need to finish for this weekend! I'll be sharing those with you soon!

Card Supplies:
Image - TGF Build A Onsies Girl set (TGF clear stamps)
Paper - MME (Life of the Party), DCWV (colored cardstock), Recollections (kraft base)
Copic - RV10 RV69 R83 R85
Other - Memento Ink (Rich Cocoa), Colorbox Chalk (brown), VersaMagic (Pixie Dust), Sakura Clear Star pen, Stickles (cotton candy), Glossy Accents, EK Success border punch, Spellbinders (yelet circles, standard large/scallop circles)

Surprise Birthday Hop...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRIS!!

Today is Kris' birthday, and the Lollipop Girls are having a surprise birthday hop!
If you have arrived here from DENISE, then you are on the right track. Otherwise, you'll want to start at the beginning at Lollipop Crafts. For Kris' card Miss Anya from Lounge Set is super sweet and perfect for the birthday girl cuz ..... that's was part of the candy I won from Kris during Christmas! She is the sweetest, talented, and most busy (with 3 little ones and still time for crafting!) person. It's been just awesome to work with her on the DT!
Now what's a hop without some awesome prizes!! There's a SURPRISE PRIZE to one random winner who comments on all the DT participating in the hop.  And there's more... some of the girls have hidden prizes too! Please stop by Kris' blog and wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Your next stop is KIM !

If you get lost, here's the order of the hop:

Mimi ~ you're here!

Beanie Anya...

Hi everyone! I'm back with another FFF challenge, and combined with Jen's Saturday Sketch challenge from Club Anya. On FFF, it's a myster color challenge...use turquoise and black, plus one other color of choice...I chose pink and used the cutie Beanie Anya! From Club Anya, I followed the fabulous sketch by Jen, and here is the result...

Beanie Anya was so much fun to color! Used only a bit of gloss on her boots and hair ties, and added a rhinestone for her button. The flowers and clip are from Joy, dp is Basic Grey's Olivia, and the pretty ribbon I found at Michael's. Okay...this is getting me in the mood for Valentine's Day cards!

FFF - Mercy's Sketch...

Hi everyone! I've been working on a small project, but I can only share a small part of it for now. I used a fun, fun sketch from Mercy over at TGF's FFF current challenge... and this adorable  New Year Anya!

Inspired by Amy Y.'s card, I used similar colors of black and silver, and added some pink. The sparkles of silver makes Anya so ready for a formal party to ring in the new year!

The dp is from DCWV glitter mat stack, ribbons and rhinestones are from Michael's, and the silver flower with pearls are from my old stash of wedding favors supplies. that's it for now...

Special Thanks...

It's been so slow for my to get back into making cards. The kids have been back to school for a week now, so finally I found some quiet time to make this card...which is going to someone that I won awesome candy from awhile back. I'm not mentioning her name here, cause I wanna surprise her! But she is super talented and so inspirational!
I tried quite a few new techniques here. First I followed a fantastic tutorial from Color me Copic, made by the one and only Amy Young, on coloring curly hair. All I can say is she makes it look so easy, but I defninitely need to practice ALOT more! I also "tried to" distress the edges...didn't look like it made much difference. Lastly, I used some fabulous Shimmerz on the flowers...think I need more colors now! hehee! Oh..and I followed one of the FFF sketch by Mercy!
