Followed an older sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and used some scrap Christmas paper from Recollections line. Can you see the shiny sparkly icing on the gingerbread? Fun to try to make it look like real icing.

Do you have time to make a card or two for a great cause? This card will be donated to the Make a Keiki Smile organization. Brrrrr... it's been cold here in SF Bay Area, especially at night. The kids have been making hot cocoa, and me? COFFEE! nice and hot... caffine doesn't bother me at night... can drink it and go right to sleep! zzzzzzz :o)

My card for today features one of the cute penguins from Meljen's!

An adorable penguin with a cup of hot coffee....mmmmm! The tree punch is from EK Success, and the snowflakes are MS and Recollections punches. Paper and ribbon are from last year's xmas scraps.. have alot left too! lol! Sentiment is from AmyR Winter Sentiment collection and punched with a Recollections punch. There are hints of glitter all over the card... couldn't catch all of it in the photo.

Happy Monday! What did you do this weekend?? We, my kids and I, finished our christmas cards that we are sending off to Kris, where she and her aunty are having a "Make A Child Smile"card drive. I already started with one from my previous post here, then I asked my kids if they wanted to make some with me. So we got busy this weekend and came up with some fun cards...

and I made two more...

They really had a great time making them, especially since they got to use my Copics! Not too often does that happen!! LOL! But it was for a good cause...and they want to do more cards! So there is another drive that we will be donating to, and you can find out more here.
