Cupcakes Bugaboo...

It's Thursday (already!)...and time for Sponser Spotlight at Lollipop Crafts! This week Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring our special month long challenge. Check out all the deets on LC and some fabulous eye candy from the LC girls!

This adorable little girl holds a tower of cupcakes. With summer just around the corner...think this cutie ready to do some serious celebrating!
Followed a fabulous sketch from Deconstructed Sketch #3 created by Jen. She has amazing sketches and a fabulous blog! I just missed the deadline for sketch #3, but there's a brand new one to play along with! Used  papers from BG Olivia set, and MS cupcake and border punches.

There's plenty of time to join the LC song inspired challenge, which ends on June 29th  (winner will be announced on June 30th) and you can enter as many times as you want! The lucky winner will receive . . .
So come on... turn on the music!

Thanks for stopping by! ;)

Happy Turtle...

Today I have birthday card to share.  This cute turtle is from Bugaboo Stamps, a fabulous site with adorable images! The sentiment is from AmyR's collection. In case if I needed one, I wanted to have a bday card for an adult male. So what do you think?

Some stickles on the balloons and swirls. Glossy accents to the party hat and horn, and some shine on the turtle too!

I noticed now that the glue wasn't qutie dried behind the buttons, oh well! Couldn't retake it because the card is already given away. It turns out that my BIL's bday was yesterday nite... so the card has already found a happy home!

Color Me Copic - Challenge #1

Color Me Copic is having their first challenge...to use black and white! Ooh, and the fabulous Rachel has an excellent tutorial on her amazing technique. I definitely had a lot of fun doing this challenge, and I chose Swiss Pixies Ladybug Nora for my card. She can be found at ATS.

used a recent ATS sketch...

and came up with this...

All the b/w paper is from my dd's old papers for paper clothes, was lucky to find scraps that were big enough to use on the card. Also used an image background from Bugaboo stamps (and they're having a great sale right now). Couldn't resist using my stickles, only a touch on her wings and headband! and a shiny ladybug to finish! The flower is made with two little flower punches, and used MS butterfly punch...wish i had a smaller butterfly punch too!
