Dressing Up Emma

Hello all! Are you having a nice relaxing summer? or it is just zipping by... like mine is! For me, it's already half-way through summer break, and I haven't gotten anything checked off on my "TO DO LIST"! which is mainly cleaning and clearing out clutter in the house. Maybe cuz that's not FUN... LOL! But I did have some fun making this card for the ATS Challenge reminder post...

Summer Emma's dress and matching hair clip was designed using BG Konnichiwa paper pad. DCWV cardstock for the solid background and distressed the edges with white inkpad from Studio G. Spellbinder's Scalloped Rectangle and Labels Three were used for the shapes. Sentiment also from Studio G, and Recollections's small flower and gems. Finished off with Carribean twine from The Twinery.

Inside of the card was designed to hold a gift card...

Coordinated the inside with scrap pieces, and randomly stamped sentiments and flowers - also from Studio G.  It's quite simple to make and I'll be making more to keep handy. Come join us at All That Scraps Wednesdays Challenge... this time, we want you to incorporate PAPER PIECING on your project!

I have Ice Cream Lucy from the new July release of CC Design Stamps and Amy R's Birthday Sentiments, both are available at the All That Scraps store! Lucy here is just so adorable with her giant ice cream! I've paper pieced and copic colored her outfit. Didn't show up too well on the pic, but her the pink on her outfit is actually pink gingham paper from SEI collections. The ice cream and cotton candy background paper is also from SEI's A Fair Day paper pack. Added some twine, gem, and stickles glitter to finish it off!

Kiyoko...

Happy Wednesday!! Here in quickly today to remind you of the current ATS Challenge... ANYTHING GOES... my card features Kiyoko from Sister Stamps which is available at the ATS store...

This step card I made for my niece's birthday who turned 7 last week! Her birthday is the day right after July 4th, so Kiyoko holding sparklers was perfect! Kiyoko's kimono is paper-pieced with some washi paper, and matched the card with the same paper. It also has a CC Cutters Cupcake, cut with some paper scraps. The tag has a birthday message for the birthday girl, and can be tucked into a hidden pocket on the back of the last step. ATS store carries all the Sister Stamps, including the newly released Mariko, Miyoko, and Takeo!

Sprinkle Beatrice here is part of the new July release of C.C. Designs, and will be available at the ATS store on Thursday, July 5th! That's tomorrow!!! I finally took out my Spellbinders Reverse Wonky Rectangle diecuts to use. I had to have them because my blogging friend, Donna, make such adorable cards with this shape. Decided not to include any sentiments just yet, because Beatrice here can be used for any celebration!

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Today, my card features a Sweet November Cookies & Milk girl stamp colored in Copics. The papers are scraps from my christmas stash, and the two snowmen are cutout from scraps too. Added a 3D sticker from Michael's Recollection line of stickers, and glossy accent to the glass of milk.
